HELPING HANDS CHRISTMAS PANTRY
2009
On December 19, 2009 we will have a special Christmas Helping Hands Distribution. Most of the food items, will be purchased in bulk for consistency and cost effectiveness; however, donations of the following items will help make this “gift” a special treat. The amount needed is listed by each item, and, as always, partial donations are as welcome as full ones.
Please consider being a part of this special occasion through your offering or your presence. Fill out the donation slip (below, and also included in the December newsletter and in upcoming church bulletins) or call John Moore (522-4743), Ginny Combs (938-1422/email-vrc1947@hotmail.com) or the church office (523-5687) so we may know what items to expect and what to purchase before December 14.

TOYS: Once again we are requesting toys, especially unisex for ages 5-10 and 11-17, jewelry for “tweens,” toys for boys and girls ages 5-10 and gifts for infants through 2 years old . The dollar stores are great sources and have good selections for $5.00 or less. Involve your children in selecting a gift for a child their age and learning the joy of giving.
Items need to be delivered to the church by Monday, December 14 (unless arrangements for a later delivery date are made with John Moore or Ginny Combs) so that purchases to complete the required number may be made if necessary. Please leave the completed form in the brown envelope marked for Helping Hands on the Outreach
Please leave donated items in the Helping Hands Room, first door on the right in the hall from the back door to the parish hall building from the back walkway.
