Hello folks!

Just got Allen's message and thought I'd take a look.  A couple of things (I'll try calling, too - NB my cell phone is offline at the moment, sorry! So use the 602-2256 for now...)

1. No need to duplicate the "Feeding sheep" line.  I think we had agreed to make the photo panel (currently showing the praying child) a rotating (or Flash?) show a set of St. James pics instead (sim to current masthead?)

2.  The site currently has about 130 pages.  I'm thinking, practically then, we need to stick to the same arrangement of panes or else I'll have WAY too much work to do checking and reconfiguring every one of them.  The biggest thing on my wish-list, I guess, would be:

(a) to keep current panes but have one alternative skin with a single pane that goes across entire page for some documents we want to embed directly on the site (instead of adding as an upload).

(b) perhaps retain your 3-column design for the HOME page only (it looks very nice) if the interior pages could retain their current pane sets?  If not possible, then retain current panes for ALL pages and just update the masthead?

3. There's something funky about the "add module" function o this page.  I couldn't add module to top of this pane (it kept reverting to bottom) PLUS the option to shuffle modules around is missing from the "move to..." menu item.  That's why I deleted the other module in this pane...

We are delighted that you have “dropped by” our place in cyberspace and hope you will join us for worship in our “real” space on North Broadway in Knoxville.

St. James’ is a growing Episcopal congregation – diverse, inclusive and friendly. The Lord is doing great things here and bringing wonderful people to share in the life of our parish. We are excited about the future He has in store for us.

Our community of faith cares for its members, reaching out in celebration and grief. We are present for and minister to each other. Our fellowship dinners and after service social time offer opportunities for connecting with each other. We also look outward. Our church actively ministers to the community around St. James’. We have a food pantry, Helping Hands, which provides food for the poor. We have crews delivering Mobile Meals in the area, and we have two teams who provide meals at Volunteer Ministry Center on the first Friday and Saturday of each month.

We are offering programs to nurture spiritual growth with our active Sunday morning Church School, Alpha course on Thursday evenings and special events such as our Tuesday morning discussion of the Bill Moyers’ documentary, On Our Own Terms.
