Neighbor Day Concert

St. James Episcopal Church Parking Lot and Live Video Stream


As a part of Neighbor Day Week St. James Episcopal Church will feature the East Tennessee Americana Band, The Emancipators, and poetry of Rhea Carmon, the City of Knoxville’s current Poet Laureate.  The Emancipators band is noted for their original and cover songs in support of struggles for peace and justice and building the beloved community. 

Rhea, who performs under the name RheaSunshine and is known as a poet, educator, and motivational speaker will read her original poems.  Bring your lawn chairs or come early and enjoy the program from your car in the designated parking area. If there is inclement weather please check our church’s website for possible cancellation.
