Where God Happens: Discovering Christ in Other People by Rowan Williams

“Teach your heart to follow what your tongue is saying to others.”  In his book, Where God Happens, Rowan Williams (the 104th Archbishop of Canterbury) introduces the reader to this and many other ancient teachings of the Desert Fathers and Mothers. He also relates how these teachings can have meaning for modern day living. He includes “A Selection of Sayings” about various issues such as humility, charity, and hospitality that I found particularly interesting and helpful. - Elizabeth Armstrong
